Last week, firefighters from Station #1 participated in a family safety outreach event at Connecting for Children and Families at their family center located at 719 Front Street. We saw many smiling faces! They have a food pantry there and are in need of volunteers, especially on Wednesdays when the receive food deliveries. To volunteer, contact Felix Colon 766-3384. It is a safe haven for members to talk with other members who have faced or overcome similar challenges.
